Our school was newly established in 2015 and fully developed with all year groups by 2020. 

 

Our dedicated staff are committed to providing the very best for our students. Our vision is to provide all children with a lifelong love of learning, but we are also driven to ensure that all students are supported and cared for, so they flourish into young people who are safe, secure, and can make a positive difference in God’s world. 

 

We aim for outstanding leadership, a curriculum that meets all learners’ needs, and sustained academic progress in a safe and engaging environment. We also focus on respectful behaviour, a wide range of extra-curricular activities, and fostering a strong sense of community where parents and carers feel pride in their children attending our school. We strive for all our children to achieve a positive destination post-Year 11 through expert career advice and work experience opportunities. Our Christian ethos and values are upheld by all who attend our school.

 

Bradford Forster Academy has been on a significant improvement journey. After being rated “inadequate” by Ofsted in March 2023 and placed into special measures, our leadership team and trust have worked tirelessly on a rapid and sustainable improvement plan. This has led to considerable improvements, particularly in attendance, behaviour, attitudes, and personal development. Our goal is to achieve a sustained “Ofsted good” rating and never return to the inadequate judgment of March 2023.
