Certificate Collection
Summer 2024 Certificates
Certificates from Summer 2024 will be available to collect following the Awards Ceremony at Bradford Cathedral on 18 December 2024. Details of how to get to the Cathedral can be found here.
Prize Winners will be notified of their awards by post prior to the Awards Evening and will be presented with their Summer 2024 certificates on stage. All other Year 11 leavers will be able to collect their certificates after the ceremony.
Any certificates that were not collected on the night will be available for collection from BFA Reception in January. See below for how to nominate someone else to collect your certificates for you if you are unable to.
Certificates from Previous Years
Please note that we are only required to hold your certificates for 12 months after they have been awarded, after that they may be confidentially disposed of following the guidelines laid out by the JCQ and the Awarding Bodies.
If you believe that Bradford Forster Academy still holds your exam certificates from a previous exam season, please email exam@bfa.bdat-academies.org to arrange an appropriate time to collect them.

Nominating another person to collect your certificates
If you are unable to collect your certificates in person, you can nominate a family member or friend to collect for you.
- Complete the form with your details and those of the person who will collect your certificates
- For certificates prior to Summer 2023, email exam@bfa.bdat-academies.org to arrange a collection time
